World Vision Aid’s Experience

October 4, 2010 § Leave a comment

World Vision is in town with their Aid’s Experience exhibit. I had the pleasure of going through the exhibit a couple of years ago and it was incredibly moving and eye opening. When you arrive, they give you an ipod that narrates for you as you walk through the experience. They build a village and allow you to walk through and see the conditions these children live in first hand. You experience it as though you are a child in Africa. This exhibit is moving and puts a face to pandemic of Aids. If you can, get down to Campus Bible Church in the next week and check out the experience, I highly recommend it. The exhibit will be going on throughout the week. It’s free, but you’ll want to reserve tickets. You can reserve tickets on their website: here.

The experience has stuck really stuck with me over the last couple of years. Here is a video about the experience, it’ll show you what I’m talking about.

This is seriously an incredible organization that is practically working to help those who are suffering from this horrible disease. If you’d like to volunteer to help put the experience on, you can get info on that here.
