Yogurt Junction, What’s your function?!!

October 11, 2010 § 1 Comment

Get it?! like Conjunction junction! Love me some School House Rock.

Ok, seriously though. I’m letting you in on a little secret. Come real close…

Have you ever been to Yogurt Junction on First and Nees? I guess the “What’s your function?” line from School House Rock sort of fits because it is such an odd little place, but I absolutely love it. It’s the only place in town I know of that serves low calorie frozen yogurt and Armenian food.

As you can tell I’ve been on a frozen treat kick. You may have seen my review of Nee Nee’s Fruit Ice earlier. Yogurt Juncion is where I go for a guilt free treat. Check out the calorie count on this bad boy.. Did I mention they’re fat and sugar FREE!

Here’s what 45 calories of peanut butter and chocolatey goodness looks like.

Looking at this picture is making me want one right now. It’s seriously so delish. If this was all they did, I would love them. However, it’s not! They make LEGIT Armenian food. Maral, one of the owners makes it from scratch and it’s amazing. As close to my grandma’s as you kiddies can get your hands on.

I love how quirky they are to serve such different things and I love the down home feel. They are extremely friendly and dear. I highly recommend you stop by for a sweet treat or savory dish. It’s a fun little spot you’ll absolutely fall for.

Here’s happy me with my treat.
